Anupama Written Update 30 January 2025: In today’s episode, Vasundhara confronts Rahi, questioning why she refuses to marry Prem despite loving him. She urges Rahi to reveal her reason. Rahi explains that she wants to focus on her career first and is not mentally ready for marriage. Khyati asks if she truly wishes to marry Prem. Rahi admits she does but insists on taking the time to understand him better. Ultimately, Rahi declines the marriage proposal, and Prem agrees, stating that he too is not ready for marriage yet. Rahi pleads with Vasundhara for more time.
Anupama steps in, apologizing to Vasundhara on Rahi’s behalf, emphasizing that neither Rahi nor Prem is prepared for marriage. Vasundhara expresses her disappointment, feeling that she has failed in handling the situation. Anupama defends Rahi, arguing that times have changed, and marriage should only happen with mutual consent. Vasundhara challenges Prem, asking why he hesitates to officially accept Rahi. He asks her to understand his perspective, but Vasundhara insists that modern women’s desire for independence often leads to broken marriages. She compares Rahi to Prathana, who is happily settled in her life and does not prioritize a career.
Anupama continues to defend Rahi, asserting that women should be self-reliant. Vasundhara counters by saying that the Kothari family does not need women to work. Anupama reminds her that circumstances can change at any time, making career stability essential. Meanwhile, Parag criticizes Prem for working for the Shahs. Prem, however, remains firm in his ambition to build a career. A heated argument ensues between Parag and Prem.
Standing by both Prem and Rahi, Anupama highlights their right to make their own decisions. Vasundhara expresses concern over what might happen if Prem and Rahi take a step forward in their relationship without marriage. Anupama reassures her, asking Vasundhara to trust their upbringing. However, Vasundhara counters that Anupama speaks of values when Rahi has already run away twice and Pakhi and Paritosh had a runaway marriage. This leads to a discussion about marriage and divorce, where Anupama shares her perspective based on her own experience with Vanraj.
Paritosh interjects, accusing Anupama of constantly lecturing others. Pakhi claims Anupama stands in the way of their dreams. Vasundhara openly disapproves of divorce, challenging Anupama’s perspective. She questions whether Anupama would give Rahi the same advice. Vasundhara further criticizes Anupama, claiming she failed in her own marriage and now prevents her daughter’s marriage from succeeding. Anupama is left stunned by the accusation.
Precap: Parag issues an ultimatum to Baa, forcing her to choose between him and Prem. The tension takes a toll on Baa’s health. Concerned, Prem visits Baa, who makes an emotional request to Rahi and Prem, urging them to fulfill her dream by getting married. She turns to Anupama, asking her to convince the couple to agree to marriage.
